I have always believed that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I would like to start mine with a glass of healthy smoothie. However most of the times I end up with a mug of tea and a toast or a cracker. But last year I decided to make some changes in my lifestyle and started exercising and tried eating healthy. One of my regular routines was trying new recipes for smoothies after workouts. Then one day while shopping at IKEA, I tried one of the Naked Juice smoothies at their restaurant and was instantly hooked on to it. I loved it so much that I almost tried all their flavors in just about a month.
But today I’m putting a twist on these and making a healthy smoothie fizz instead. By adding a few ingredients we’ll transform it into a great summertime drink and a definite crowd-pleaser. This recipe is not only super healthy (with an extra boost of vitamin C), but also a stylish looking drink for your all those parties you’re planning to throw this summer.

Retro Themed Party Decor + Free Printables
Hey you guys , here is another DIY inspired by a retro theme ! So far pastels colors and retro graphics have been the two things I’m totally into this year. Also, this can be great a theme for brunch party if you are planning to throw one this weekend for mother’s day ! Everyone can dress up in the retro attire too.
In the pics below you will see retro themed invites and profile cut outs which you could use on invitations, as place holders and as markers on stirrers. I have shown these three ideas below but you could use them in other creative ways too. And for those of you who don’t think they are good at drawing, do not worry. I’ve got you covered! At the end of this post you will find links from where you could download these for FREE!
DOG FAMILY PORTRAIT
Hey there! How was your weekend? Well mine was totally action packed. After a week of gloomy weather and rain the sun finally showed up on Sunday. I quickly got to completing all the pending photo shoots. You know how important good lighting is for us bloggers. So last week I completed a commissioned dog family portrait for a family and handed it over on Friday. So today I can share the pictures with you. Enjoy!
It feels nice to see the reaction of people when I hand over the paintings. I’m a bit nervous and anxious at the same time. I keep thinking if it turned out the way they wanted it or is it going to be a disappointment. Well, I’m happy to say they loved it. Which is the case most of the times except this one time , I dint really understand what the client was thinking. It was a picture of a tree he had clicked in Hawaii and wanted me to paint it. I tried my best and he said he liked it however, I thought he was looking for something more. Well we all learn from our experiences, don’t we? But when they do like it , I am just so happy can’t really express into words. All the effort and emotion I put in the artwork is totally worth it when it brings a smile on someone’s face.
Have a great week ahead guys and stay tuned for some fun DIY projects coming up this week.
xo,

Blogging and learnings
As enjoyable as my blogging experience has been so far; I have realized that having thousands of creative thoughts in your mind is one thing and executing them and creating a blog post on it is whole another. Its been a while since I posted anything on the blog . I have been busy with a lot of projects these last couple of weeks. Blogging everyday is not as easy as one would think , specially if you have photo shoots, photo editing and other diy projects involved. Past couple of weeks I also learned that I need to take it slow and take one project at a time and post accordingly. With the new blog , I just got overwhelmed with excitement and thought I should be putting out a new post everyday, create something new everyday and so now I have so many projects lined up. But I am taking my time on them , completing them one at a time and you will definitely be seeing them here soon!
I also read some other blogs and stories about their authors and how they started out on their blogging adventures. It was definitely comforting to see that there was a learning curve for everyone. It is confusing, overwhelming and things don’t change overnight. You gotta figure out stuff , reach out , put in the extra effort and hope for the best. It’s important to be motivated and take inspiration from where ever you can . I am all excited to take this further and definitely keep learning on the way.
This photo by FLOTO+WARNER pretty much sums up my thoughts right now. (love their entire series of colourant)
