Finally!!! Here it is .. the news that I said I would share with you guys soon.. We are moving to Canada. That is also one of the reasons why things are a bit slow here right now. We have been trying to figure out the move and all the hoopla that goes with it. transferring, packing, moving, trashing, cleaning and everything. My husband’s got a work assignment in Edmonton,CA for a one year and we are super excited to take on this adventure. I have never been to Canada before but I’ve heard its very beautiful. I do plan to continue blogging from there. You guys are in for more of travel posts as we plan to explore this country in the limited time that we have. Yes! all those national parks, mountain ranges, hikes, camps and more.
I did a bit of my research on Edmonton as I had just heard about it before but did not know anything or anyone from there. Most of the bloggers I know are from Vancouver, Montreal or Toronto. But to my surprise apparently Edmonton is supposed to be like the festival city Canada and has a pretty neat arts & music scene too. I’m totally excited to explore more. We have found an apartment in downtown area so that we could get a feel of the city, check out the restaurants, cafes, museums and more.
I am dreading the winter though. You know for someone who is from Houston, I have no idea if I will be to handle almost 6 months of winter (trust me.. anywhere below 60 degrees is like winter for us) ha!
It’s going to be a big change for me. I do not have a studio there where I would be doing all my DIY and Food posts. The apartment is fully furnished so not sure how that’s going to work out. But I will definitely keep you guys posted on my plans. I’m gonna have to think of creative ways to make the pics interesting without the white backgrounds and the perfect lighting. You know how it is for us bloggers.. give us a white room a table and some big bright windows and we’ll be happy for life!
Meanwhile there are some interesting interior posts lined up for next week. And you can follow me here on all the behind the scenes activity and excitement.
Till then,
xo,varsha
